English Breakfast

A radio breakfast show for Amsterdam’s vibrant international community. It broadcasts both Dutch and international news, sport, weather, music and interviews in addition to providing cultural information. Broadcast live between 07:00-09:00 Monday to Friday on 99.4FM and 104.6FM and via the internet

If you’re living in the Netherlands but haven’t yet mastered the complex Dutch language, you can still watch plenty of great TV. The Netherlands broadcast many programmes from the US and the UK which are usually shown in English with Dutch subtitles. In most parts of the Netherlands the following English-language stations are also available via a standard satellite/cable systems: BBC1, BBC2, BBC World, Discovery Channel, CNN, CNBC and National Geographic.
