Autumn in the Netherlands
Unfortunately, the beautiful Dutch summer has come to an end. Not just theoretically, but also the weather shows us the summer really is over.
This Dutch summer was one of extremes; tropical hot days alternated with intense weather (including rain, thunder and storms). This bad weather went beyond hard rain and severe thunderstorms; a severe summer storm has caused damaged to the Netherlands and its people. With speeds up to 121 km/h this has been one of the two worst storms the Netherlands has known since measurements started.
As stated earlier, the autumn has really arrived. For days in a row it has been raining and the temperature has dropped considerably.
