Dutch pasta with smoked sausage and kale

Fancy a traditional Dutch meal with a twist? Then try this delicious pasta ‘fusion’ dish with Dutch smoked sausage and kale!

Ingredients

350 grams of macaroni or another pasta of your choice
300 grams of finely sliced kale
6 slices thinly sliced bacon
200 ml of cream
1 large onion
1 red pepper
1 Unox extra lean smoked sausage
2 teaspoon of thyme
2 teaspoon of rosemary
100 grams of old cheese
Olive oil
Salt and pepper

Preparation

First cook the pasta until al dente. Meanwhile, slice the sausage and fry in a few tablespoons of olive oil. Next finely chop the onion, crush the garlic and cut the bacon and peppers into strips, and add all of these to the pan. Now fry the kale and season to taste with thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper. Pour in the cream and leave to gently simmer over a low heat. Finally, stir in the macaroni and divide the pasta among four plates. Top with grated Dutch cheese and a little fresh parsley immediately before serving.
