Chocoladekwarktaart (chocolate cheesecake)

Dutch chocolate flakes are not only delicious on bread – they also make an ideal topping for desserts and cakes… and our yummy chocolate cheesecake below is the perfect example!


1 pack of Dr. Oetker cheesecake mix naturel
6 large slices of cake
500 grams of cottage cheese
250 ml of cream
1 bottle of chocolate sauce
1 pack of De Ruijter chocolate flakes
½ cup of fresh raspberries (optional)



First line the bottom of a spring form cake tin (24 cm in diameter) with baking paper. Next crumble the slices of cake, press into the bottom of the cake tin, and top with chocolate sauce. Now pop the cottage cheese, along with 0.4 litres of lukewarm water into a mixing bowl and whisk until creamy. Mix in the cream until the mixture becomes light and airy and then pour over the cake, before leaving to set in your fridge for at least three hours. Finally sprinkle both the top and sides generously with De Ruijter chocolate flakes and garnish with fresh raspberries. Yum!
