Stroopwafelgebakje met gebakken peren (Dutch syrup waffles topped with baked pear)

What finer way to enjoy traditional Dutch stroopwafels (Dutch syrup waffles) than with delicious baked pears?

4 Dutch stroopwafels
4 small pears
4 tbsp. of raisins
2 tbsp. of Dutch pouring syrup
50 gr of butter
2 tbsp. of white caster sugar
200 ml of sour cream
2 sachets of vanilla sugar
The juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp. of cinnamon

First peel the pears, dice and sprinkle with a little lemon juice and soften the raisins in a bowl of warm water. Next, heat the butter and fry the diced pear and sugar over a low heat until the sugar is lightly browned. Now pour in the syrup, add the soaked raisins and allow to briefly simmer over a low heat. Next, beat the sour cream in a separate bowl and stir in the vanilla sugar. Meanwhile, heat the syrup waffles briefly in the microwave or in a dry, hot pan and then place onto a plate. Spoon over the sour cream and top with the pear mixture. Finally sprinkle with cinnamon and serve as a tempting dessert or as a delicious treat between meals.
