Palingbroodjes (smoked eel rolls)

The deliciously intense flavour of Dutch smoked eel is perfect when combined with the sweetness of freshly baked croissants.


1 smoked eel fillet
1 tin of Danerolles croissants

Dutch smoked eel rolls


Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the tin. Next, open the tin and roll out the dough. Cut the eel fillet in half (lengthways) and then cut both into 3 equal pieces. Now place a piece of eel onto each slice of the dough and roll up into the shape of a croissant. Place the stuffed croissants onto a baking tray and bake until golden brown. Delicious as a snack between meals.
