Tired of cheese and ham sandwiches for lunch? Try this delicious toasted tuna sandwich, with real Dutch cheese, instead!
4 slices of wholemeal bread
1 tin of tuna steak
100 g of Dutch cheese
Preheat your grill and toast the bread on one side, until golden brown. Drain the tuna steak and cut into small pieces. Place each slice of bread (with the brown toasted side facing downwards) onto the grill and cover with a large slice of Dutch oude kaas (Dutch old cheese). Next add the tuna before placing another slice of cheese on top. Season the sandwich with salt and pepper and toast briefly under the grill until the cheese is melted and a tempting golden brown.
