A perfect side dish for both winter and summer!
300 grams of boiled potatoes (cooled and diced)
2 hard-boiled eggs, cut into small cubes
10 silver skin onions, cut in half or quartered
3 large pickled gherkins (cut into pieces)
½ jar of peas
100 grams of shoulder ham, diced
1 apple, peeled and diced
5 tablespoons of salad dressing
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 sprig of parsley, chopped
A pinch of salt
Freshly ground pepper
Place all of the ingredients into a large bowl and stir gently. If necessary, add a little more salad dressing to prevent it the dish from being too dry (you can also replace some of the salad dressing with fresh yogurt if preferred). Finally, cover and place in the fridge for a few hours. Before serving, garnish with a slice of boiled egg and a sprig of parsley. The perfect accompaniment to typical Dutch meals!
