Karnemelkpap (Buttermilk Porridge)

A typical Dutch porridge that makes a perfect start to those cold winter mornings!

3 tablespoons of flour
3 tablespoons of sugar
500 ml of buttermilk

Place the flour and sugar into a saucepan and stir the buttermilk in gradually to avoid any lumps. Next, place the pan on the hob and bring the mixture to the boil, whilst continuing to stir. Allow to cook until a lovely porridge forms. Serve immediately, with a small dusting of brown sugar.
