A hearty Dutch stew, just perfect for a rainy Autumnal day!
1 kg of potatoes
4 large leeks
Peel the potatoes and cook until soft and fluffy. Meanwhile wash the leeks, cut into rings and fry for 3 minutes in a frying pan or wok. Next, drain the potatoes and retain the water. Now mash the potatoes and add a little of the remaining water to create a lovely, smooth mash. Finally stir in the leeks and your authentic Dutch leek stew is ready! Serve with delicious Dutch smoked sausage and Groninger mustard.
