Rijstebrij (Rice pudding)

Spoil yourself, family and friends with this authentic Dutch pudding!

Ingredients:
1 litre of milk
150 gr of pudding rice
1 small bag of vanilla sugar
Brown sugar
Butter
A pinch of salt

Preparation:
Pour the milk into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Once the milk is boiling, stir in the pudding rice and vanilla sugar and add some salt to taste. Allow the rice to simmer for 1 hour until thoroughly cooked. Finally, place the warm rice pudding into bowls and sprinkle generously with brown sugar.
